Chapel Hill Transit Bus Stop Mural

Installed 2019 Located at the bus shelter at Airport Gardens, Chapel Hill, NC

Artistic bus shelters provide access to art in a way that anyone who happens by that space can see it; making art more accessible to the community. Made possible by Chapel Hill Transit and Town of Chapel Hill Community Arts & Culture, Calva was one of the artists chosen to customize a bus shelter. The design represents the shelter’s purpose, serving as an “umbrella” shielding us from rain and other outside factors.
